Oreo Chocolate Cup Cake

Delicious, Chocolaty, Spongy and EASIEST cupcake ever! I make this every time I have a chocolate craving which is - almost 2-3 days a week (well.. guilty as charged). You will absolutely love it and probably want to make it over and over again! Do try it and let me know how it turned out.

Ingredients

1 Small Packet Oreo Cookies (4 in a pack)
1-2 Tablespoons Milk
Few Chocolate Chips

Method

1. Break 4 Oreo cookies into quarters and add them to a blender/grinder. Blitz it 3-4 times till you have a coarse powder.
2. Add milk and stir very gently just once (Add just enough milk for the mixture to turn moist. Also do not stir too much as the air bubbles in the cookies help in making the cake spongy).
3. Spoon half of the mixture into a small microwave safe cup, add chocolate chips and then add the remaining mixture.
4. Cook for 30 seconds in the microwave, check and cook further 20 or 30 seconds until the cake is spongy to touch.
5. Top with Icing Sugar / Nutella / Ice-cream or fruit of your choice and serve immediately.

Tc & Stay Fab!
Love,
J

Rendezvous

Only three days left for new years and I am sitting here on my couch in my pyjamees contemplating how quickly time just flies. I have done a lot of things this year than I have ever done in my life. Been to places, met new people and had new experiences and most importantly - had great food! For Christmas this year, more than anything else I wanted to go on a dinner date with hubby. I picked Rendezvous in Seef Mall, Bahrain. The last time I went there was a year ago and I totally enjoyed their delicious buffet. I liked almost everything in their spread and ate until I couldn't anymore. So on Christmas eve we dressed up for our first ever date in Bahrain and drove off to Seef Mall. I expected the place to be fairly busy but it wasn't. We occupied a table for two and decided to attack the food without wasting time. There was everything - chicken, beef, shrimps, mutton, veg, noodles, and so on. The food this time was average compared to the last time I visited this place. The ...

Breakfast Pancakes

And finally after a super long break I'm back to blogging and I am so happy about it. A lot of things happened during the past 1 year.. infact life has completely changed. I'll tell you all about it in another post. For now let's stick to the recipe in this space. Off late I developed a liking towards pancakes for breakfast. So quick and easy to prepare and they taste so so good. Hubby likes them as much as I do! The best part is, these don't have eggs or butter in them ! A guilt-free breakfast especially if you are controlling your intake of fat and want something light in the mornings. So here's how you make them. Ingredients: 1 cup All purpose flour 3 tbsp Sugar 3/4 tsp Baking powder Pinch of Salt 1 tsp Vanilla Essence 1 cup full-fat milk 3 tbsp Oil Water (as needed) Method: 1. In a medium sized bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients. In another bowl, whisk all the wet ingredients and slowly keep adding to the dry ingredients whil...
